1. Introduction
Welcome to The Pilgrimage Retreat website. By accessing or using our website, services, or attending any of our retreats, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before booking. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use this website or attend our retreats.
2. Bookings & Payments

A non-refundable deposit of £200 is required to reserve your place.

Your booking is confirmed once the deposit has been received.

The remaining balance must be paid in full by 25 January 2026.

Participants registering after this date are required to pay the full amount at once in order to secure their spot.

Payment plans may be available; however, all installments must be completed before the retreat begins.

We keep our group intentionally small so each participant receives personal care and attention.
3. Cancellations & Refunds (Participants)

The £200 deposit is non-refundable under all circumstances.

Cancellations made more than three months before the retreat start date are eligible for a full refund of the remaining balance (excluding the deposit).

Cancellations made within three months of the start date are not guaranteed a refund. Any refund issued will be at the discretion of the retreat organisers.

No refunds can be offered for cancellations made within 30 days of the retreat, for early departures, or for no-shows.

5. Participant Responsibility

You are responsible for ensuring you are physically and mentally fit to participate in retreat activities.

It is your responsibility to disclose any relevant health conditions, allergies, or special requirements in advance.

You agree to act respectfully towards all participants, staff, and local communities. We reserve the right to remove any participant behaving inappropriately, without refund.
6. Travel & Insurance

Participants are responsible for obtaining a valid passport, tourist visa, and any other required travel documents.

We will offer guidance and reminders, but the final responsibility lies with each participant.

Refunds cannot be provided if you are unable to join the retreat due to incomplete or incorrect travel documentation.
6. Program Adjustments

While our itinerary is thoughtfully designed, elements of the program may shift due to weather, temple schedules, local events, or safety considerations.

We reserve the right to modify activities when necessary to protect the quality and safety of the retreat. Flexibility is part of the pilgrimage experience.

6. Liability Waiver
By participating in any of our retreats, you acknowledge that:

You are in suitable physical and emotional health to participate in the activities.

You will inform the organizers of any relevant medical conditions or dietary needs.

You understand that travel in India during Holi may involve crowds, color powders, noise, dust, and sensory intensity.

You take part in all activities voluntarily and at your own risk.

The organizers cannot be held liable for:

injury, illness, loss of property, or accidents

travel delays, cancellations, or disruptions

any circumstances beyond our reasonable control

We will always prioritise your safety and wellbeing with care.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and media, is the property of The Pilgrimage Retreatand protected by copyright laws. No content may be copied, reproduced, or distributed without explicit written permission.
8. Photography & Media Consent
We may capture photos, videos, or testimonials during retreats. By attending, you consent to the use of such media for promotional and marketing purposes unless you explicitly notify us in writing prior to the retreat.
9. Force Majeure
We are not liable for delays, cancellations, or changes due to causes beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, war, government restrictions, or civil unrest.
10. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of United Kingdom. Any disputes will be resolved in the jurisdiction of our principal place of business.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updates will be posted on this website with the effective date. Continued participation in our retreats or use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
